obst\u00e9tricale est une l\u00e9sion qu\u2019il est possible de pr\u00e9venir et de traiter, qui affecte en particulier les jeunes femmes issues de milieux d\u00e9favoris\u00e9s. coupl\u00e9 avec un manque de soins m\u00e9dicaux qualifi\u00e9s, la fistule obst\u00e9tricale conduit souvent \u00e0 une incontinence permanente \u2013 un \u00e9coulement continuel d\u2019urine et la ><h4>Comment cela arrive-t-il?<\/h4>\n<p>Une fistule vaginale, qui affecte en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral les femmes enceintes, provient d\u2019un travail prolong\u00e9, durant en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de 2 \u00e0 5 jours, avec un accouchement ne se produisant qu\u2019une fois que le b\u00e9b\u00e9 est mort. Pendant l\u2019accouchement, la t\u00eate du b\u00e9b\u00e9 et l\u2019os pubien forment un \u00e9tau, emp\u00eachant le sang de circuler \u00e0 travers les tissus de cette zone.<\/p>\n<p>Apres l\u2019accouchement, les tissus pelviens l\u00e9s\u00e9s se d\u00e9tachent, laissant une ouverture anormale entre le vagin et la vessie (moins souvent le rectum). Devenue incapable de contr\u00f4ler le flot d\u2019urine (et\/ou de selles), la femme est perp\u00e9tuellement mouill\u00e9e et souill\u00e9e. Les femmes qui en sont affect\u00e9es sont souvent rejet\u00e9es par leurs maris et ostracis\u00e9es par leurs familles et communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h4>Statistiques au sujet de la fistule<\/h4>\n<p>Le Fonds des Nations Unies pour la Population (FNUAP) estime que chaque ann\u00e9e entre 50 000 et 100 000 femmes vont souffrir d\u2019une fistule obst\u00e9tricale durant leur accouchement.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Organisation Mondiale de la Sant\u00e9 (OMS) estime que plus de deux millions de femmes vivent actuellement avec une fistule obst\u00e9tricale, dont la majorit\u00e9 se trouvent en Afrique.<\/p>\n<p>La fistule obst\u00e9tricale est \u00e0 la fois \u00e9vitable et soignable, une affection qu\u2019aucune femme ne devrait avoir \u00e0 subir. La pauvret\u00e9 est la cause premi\u00e8re indirecte de la fistule obst\u00e9tricale dans le monde. L\u2019accouchement avec obstruction et la fistule obst\u00e9tricale comptent pour 8% des d\u00e9c\u00e8s maternels au niveau mondial.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><!--
