><h4>Pieds bots<\/h4>\n<p>Un enfant sur 1.400 dans le monde na\u00eet avec une d\u00e9formation du pied, un \u00abpied bot\u00bb. Sans traitement ad\u00e9quats, ces enfants apprennent \u00e0 marcher en s\u2019appuyant sur le cot\u00e9 de leur pied plut\u00f4t que sur la plante. Douleurs, d\u00e9marche malhabile et moqueries sont leur quotidien.<\/p>\n<h4>Jambes arqu\u00e9es<\/h4>\n<p>Une d\u00e9formation cong\u00e9nitale, un l\u00e9ger accident ou une carence alimentaire peuvent engendrer une courbure des jambes d\u2019un enfant. Non trait\u00e9s, le genu valgum (genoux en X) et le genu varum (genoux en O) emp\u00eachent un enfant de marcher correctement.<\/p>\n<h4>Blessures non trait\u00e9es<\/h4>\n<p>Des fractures dues \u00e0 des accidents de la circulation, accidents de travail, blessures de guerre (tels que coups de fusils et de machettes), chutes et autres blessures aux jambes et aux pieds restent trop souvent non trait\u00e9es. Les chirurgiens orthop\u00e9diques accomplissent toutes sortes d\u2019op\u00e9rations pour rendre la mobilit\u00e9 \u00e0 ces personnes qui portent parfois une douleur depuis des ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<h4>Statistiques (Sources: OMS)<\/h4>\n<p>Chaque ann\u00e9e, 100.000 b\u00e9b\u00e9s naissent avec des pieds bots.\u00a080% des fractures et une grande majorit\u00e9 des pieds-bots
